libax25 software package provides ax25 library for hamradio applications, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libax25
libax25 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libax25 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libax25 *
You will get with libax25 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
